Kristen Cameron
Kristen Cameron is a multi-disciplinary artist who enjoys combining various artforms, often with unexpected outcomes. She especially enjoys creating colorful masks and dolls created from many textures and elements. She hails from a family with a long line of artists.
Kristen sometimes explores creative expression by blending new and established artforms with random natural elements.
She has felt drawn to creative endeavors since she was a young child. Deeply moved and inspired by her travels to Hawaii, Kristen enjoys incorporating the colors, textures, and shapes of exotic tropical plant life. When making masks, dolls, Kristen uses muslin, acrylic, dry clay, yucca stalks and epoxy over wire frame with paper clay for faces and hands.
Kristen is a charter member of Warner Springs Artisan Guild.
