Bonnie Gendron
A lifelong artist, Bonnie began making art and studying artistic techniques in the 1970s. She considers herself to be self-taught but has honed her skills through classes and workshops offered through Grossmont College and by many well-known artists throughout the San Diego County. Bonnie believes art is an ongoing learning process that often reflects her most important ideas and values.
Pastel and pencil drawings are Bonnie's preferred mediums. She has lately been incorporating them, prints and beading, into collage/assemblage works to highlight the importance of nature and wildlife to human well-being and sustainability of the planet.
