Julia Willhite

Born in Russia and raised in Turkey, Austria, Italy, Caribbean & the USA, Julia Ivanovna Willhite is a quintessential world traveler. She first learned to crochet as a child while living in Turkey. Later in life, Julia discovered a meditative connection between crocheting yarn mandalas (a geometric figure representing the universe in Buddhist and Hindu symbolism) and her personal Yoga practice. Julia’s creative inspiration comes from being exposed to many wonderful cultures from around the world. Her international photography collection is also a reflection of many exotic destinations and is listed on FineArtAmerica.com.
Julia’s current interests include sustainable lifestyle gardening and animal husbandry. She lives on a ranch with her husband, and together they raise peacocks, lama, sheep, turkey & chickens.
