Linda Todd-Limón

Picture

Linda Todd-Limón is a native San Diegan who has loved photography since her teen years shooting with a Kodak camera. Today, with her Nikon, she enjoys capturing a wide variety of images from her local environment as well as from her travels across the United States and Europe. Linda enjoys portrait photography where she strives to capture the timeless quality of treasured moments and events, but shooting wildlife and landscapes is where her passion lies. No matter what Linda sees and captures behind the lens of her camera, emotion and heart are an integral part of her love of the craft. “Photography and art in general is letting your fingers capture what your heart is hearing.”
Linda was previously an educator working twenty-seven years for the Cajon Valley Union School District. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Boise State University and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from San Diego State University. Linda studied photography at the San Diego In Focus Learning Center and has won awards at the San Diego County Fair as well as being voted Favorite Artist in the Julian Arts Guild 2016 Art Show. Linda is a member of the Julian Arts Guild and exhibits her photography in the Julian Arts Guild Gallery as well as in the Julian Arts Guild Spring Art Show at Town Hall on Main Street in Julian, California. She was also the solo featured artist at the Warner Springs Gallery in Warner Springs, California in the fall of 2018. Linda, has in the past few years, coordinated the annual JAG art shows, but currently manages the Julian Arts Guild Gallery and is the Julian Arts Guild president.
Linda lives in the historic mining town of Julian, where she and her husband grow certified organic apples and pears.
