Jeanete Jackson
Jeanete Jackson is a Mexican American artist who, after several moves, has settled in Julian California in 2023.
In her work you can find robust human figures, natural forms that refer to the earth, the sky, clouds, stones, and plants. Sometimes these merge with each other, creating masses, with faint colors from watercolors that merge into the gray of graphite and sienna tones, ochres in conjunction with some warm accentuating colors and blues to deepen and give volumes, giving that soft, warm appearance, and home comfort that these figures find in themselves in front of large lands that give the appearance of hugging the main figures.
